Who can become a member of Cantoria Activa?
All persons referred to in article 13.1 of the LSCA, who agree to abide by the agreed rules of the cooperative,and who meet the following requirements and conditions, may become members of the cooperative.
Age requirements
Members must be over 45 years of age and under 75 years of age at the time of their admission, with specific exceptions.
Age management
That there is a vacancy in the “age range” to which the aspiring partner belongs, as regulated in Article 6.1 and 9.2.6.I of the Bylaws.
exceptions
Exceptionally, members may be admitted that do not meet the general requirements. These would need to be approved by a simple majority of the General Assembly with the favorable proposal of the Governing Council.
Individual or family members
Members may join individually or as a family, the latter constituting a “Financial Unit”.
"INDIVIDUAL" members
Any person who lives and enjoys a housing unit alone.
“FAMILY MEMBER”
This is when the Housing Unit is permanently occupied by more than one person, and such circumstance is accepted by the Governing Board, in accordance with the provisions of the Statutes and Rules of Cohabitation.
